1. It's all about YOU….
Love, Laugh and Live
(Excellent thoughts on Life from Radha)

Love, Laugh, Live. Who knows what tomorrow has in store for us?

Love - Love All, Hate None! There is some purpose for God to create us. And, I feel my purpose is to love everything God has created and enjoy each and every moment in my life.

Laugh - Smile Always, most importantly when you are down with problems. One thing I always take in my life is, God will always give me something which I deserve in my life, not what I ask for. Because God knows what to give you and when to give you. He will do miracles if you trust him and enjoy each and every moment in your life.

Live - Live like as if there is no tomorrow. Take the other two words very seriously when you live. You can do wonders in your life if you believe in yourself and in God.

2. Health and Safety….Health - Very Very Important Tips

3. Jokes...2 elderly ladies

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades.

Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me . I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it.Please tell me what your name is."Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her.

Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"

4. Thought for the Week

At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done,
then they begin to think it can’t be done. Then they see it can be done.
Then it was done and all the world wonders why it was not done before.

5. Management Thirukkurals… LIFE!

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.

From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed:

"Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?

To this Arthur Ashe replied:"The world over -- 50 million children start playing tennis, 5 million learn to play tennis,500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, and 5000 reach the grand slam,50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, when I was holding a cup I never asked GOD
'Why me?

'And today in pain I should not be asking GOD 'Why me?' "

6. Inspiring web

The 212 degree is one of the most powerful ideas. At 211 degrees water is hot.

At 212 it boils and with boiling water comes steam and steam can power a locomotive. It's that one extra degree that makes all the difference.

Just take 3 minutes to watch the 212 movie. It not only could make your day it could change your life. Click on the link below.

7. Mind your Language..Part 1

Dealing with any customer, suppliers in services is an art. It is useful to know how English language works with them. Some of us may hesitate to speak to the client, because we are not confident.
‘Practice makes you confident’ ; “Practice these tips…….”

Tip 1: Indian Context

Do not write "the same" in an email - it makes little sense to our customers/ Suppliers.
Example - I will try to organize the meeting artifacts and inform you of the same when it is done.

The Right Way:

It is better written simply as:
I will try to organize the project artifacts and inform you when that is done.

Tip 2: Indian Context

Do not write or say, "I have some doubts on this issue" …..We use this term ‘coz in Indian context the word for "doubt“ and a "question" is the same.

The Right Way:

…. The term "Doubt" is used in the sense of doubting someone
The correct usage is: I have few questions on this issue

08. Management Fundas….See the other side

The train has started moving. It is packed with people of all ages, mostly with the working men and women and young college guys and gals.

Near the window, seated a old man with his 30 year old son. As the train moves by, the son is overwhelmed with joy as he was thrilled with the scenory outside..

"See dad, the scenory of green trees moving away is very beautiful"

This behaviour from a thirty year old son made the other people feel strange about him. Every one started murmuring something or other about this son."This guy seems to be a krack.." newly married Anup whispered to his wife.

Suddenly it started raining... Rain drops fell on the travellers through the opened window. The Thirty year old son , filled with joy " see dad, how beautiful the rain is .." Anup's wife got irritated with the rain drops spoiling her new suit. Anup ," cant you see its raining, you old man, if ur son is not feeling well get him soon to a mental asylum..and dont disturb public henceforth"

The old man hesitated first and then in a low tone replied " we are on the way back from hospital, my son got discharged today morning , he was a blind by birth, last week only he got his vision, these rain and nature are new to his eyes.. Please forgive us for the inconvenience caused..."

The things we see may be right from our prespective until we know the truth. But when we know the truth our reaction to that will hurt even us. So try to understand the problem better before taking a harsh action.

10. Cartoon
11. Parenting.......Moments

From George Carlin, who passed away recently, was an irreverent comedian.
This is probably one of the few sober pieces he did.
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...
Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.Give time to love, give time to speak!
And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

15. Closing thoughts... My Word...

Here is an Action words that we can constantly consciously think and practice for the next 2 weeks …

My word is DO. I love it. We need it. There are quite a few things around our office/ Home that need some doing. And you would find that when you am doing, YOU are happier, more content and very motivated to do more. DO encompasses everything in life.
DO leaves all excuses behind. All of us would have our list of open things. A little of my doing last week. Wow did that feel good! That has needed doing for such a long time!
