1. Its all about YOU - YOU are so blessed!!!

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the million who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people around the world.

If you attend a church, temple or mosque meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace,
you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways you may never even know.

Blessings to YOU!!!

2. Thought for this week

My wife and I made a pact a long time ago and we have kept it no matter how angry we have grown with each other.
When one yells, the other should listen – because when two people yell, there is no communication, just noise and bad vibrations. – Dale Carnegie

3. Health…Tension!!!

The moment you are in TENSION

You will lose your ATTENTION

Then you are in total CONFUSION

and you'll feel IRRITATION

This may spoil your personal RELATIONS

Untimately, you won't get COOPERATION

And get things into COMPLICATION

Then you may raise CAUTION .

And you have to take MEDICATION

Why not try understanding the SITUATION

And try to think about the SOLUTION

Many problems will be solved by DISCUSSION

Which will work out better in your PROFESSION

Don't think this is a free SUGGESTION

It is only for your PREVENTION

If you understand my INTENTION

You'll never come again into TENSION!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!

4. Management quick tips..

One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route. No problems for the first few stops – a few people got on, a few got off, And things went generally well.

At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet height, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground. He glared at the driver and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back.

Did I mention that the driver was five feet three, thin, and basically meek? Well, he was. Naturally, he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it.

The next day the same thing happened-Big John got on again, made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down. And the next day, and the one after that and so forth. This grated on the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of him.

Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building courses, karate, judo, and all that good stuff. By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong; what's more, he felt really good about himself.

So on the next Monday, when Big John once again got on the bus and said, “Big John doesn't pay!,” The driver stood up, glared back at the passenger, and screamed, “And why not ?”

With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, “Big John has a bus pass.”

Lesson:
Be sure there is a problem in the first Place before working hard to solve one

6. Management thoughts - Luck Favours those who helps themselves...

There was a terrific flood in a small Village. Every one was leaving for safe ground except for one man who said: “God will save Me! I have faith in Him”

The water level grew high and, there came a Jeep to rescue him.
But, the man refused it saying : “God will save Me! I have faith in Him”

As the water level rose further, he went up to the second storey of his house; and now a Boat came to rescue him. He again refused saying “God will save Me! I have faith in Him”

The water kept raising and now, He climbed on to the roof to avoid water.
This time it was Helicopter which came to save him.
Repeatedly he told that he still has faith in God and he will be saved by his grace.

Finally, the man drowned & found dead. When he reached his maker, he angrily questioned him as: “Oh! Creator, I had complete faith in you . Why did you ignore my prayers and let me Drown?!!”

For this, God calmly replied: “My child, who did you think sent you the Jeep, the Boat & the Helicopter”

10. Closing thoughts…

India Proud..Somdev

Somdev is the NEW tennis sensation – reaching the finals of the Chennai open ATP tournament – Somdev is the first Indian who has reached the finals in the 12 year history….Somdev fought valiantly, but lost is the finals.

Currently ranked 292nd in the world, this 23 year old was hardly considered a big threat in this years edition, but Somdev played exceptionally to account for some biggies including Carlos Moya…Well done Somdev – We stand proud of your great accomplishment.
Is this going to change the fan following from cricket to other sports…hmm, I doubt it..we still have some way to go before any other sport would gain some more importance or visibility in India.

Satyam…..Different strokes

There is enough bashing going on about Satyam, their x-management team with a number of jokes, rhymes going around – so at this moment let us step back a moment and…..Convey our sympathy, best wishes to all the 53000 employees and their families..it is trying times for each of them – the employees, their spouse, children, parents, dependents, etc. must be in definitely going through a lot of uncertainty – clearly for no fault of theirs.

Let us hope and pray that at least for the future of these courageous people, things settle down one way or the other and it gets back to business as usual….very soon!!!
