Hi Friends, I would like to first of all start with a little PUSH which I want to give You
Inspirations - THE PUSH
From Mac Anderson
"You never know when one act, or one word
of encouragement can change a life forever."
~ Zig Ziglar
How true it is! Just one act of kindness...just one word of encouragement, can change a life forever.
"The Push", is a wonderful short story written by my co-author David McNally. The story inspired this book, (Even Eagles Need a Push) and the movie you're about to watch.
It has only 182 words, but it captures the essence of encouragement in a way you'll never forget.
So sit back, turn up your speakers, and watch a beautiful 3 minute movie that will make your heart smile.
A little "shot of inspiration" is always a good thing!
Balaji: I was so impressed y this video and found it to be motivational - The words
"THE PUSH"
Sometimes we need it
Sometimes we need to give it…
Clearly focuses the importance of the role each of us need to play in grooming our employees to ensure that Newer heights are reached
Similarly when our Boss(es) PUSH us, take it in a very positive way - they want YOU to succedd!!

The Seven Ups
1. Wake Up!! Decide to have a good day.
2. Dress Up!! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile.
A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
3. Shut Up!! Say nice things and learn to listen.
With two ears and one mouth.. it's meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking.
"He who guards his lips guards his soul."

4. Stand Up!! . . . for what you believe in.
Stand for something or you will fall for anything.
5. Look Up !!. . . Keep yourself centered. Remember, you are important.
6. Reach Up !! . . . for something higher.
Trust with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding.
7. Lift Up !! . . . your Prayers.

"Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
A POSITIVE THOUGHT
When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift...Thrown away...Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.
"Life may not be the party we hoped for...
but while we are here we might as well dance!"
108 - Please spread awareness
A True life incident recall of my Office colleague - From Madhan, Safety officer in Ford
I am sharing my personal experience with "108" (EMRI) on their Quick response.
When I travelling from Pondicherry to Coimbatore last Sunday (02-08-09) night by Bus, the bus met an accident with lorry in National Highway nearby "Atthur" Landmark: "Paaventhar college of Arts and Science".
Two of my co-passenger got injured. One was a lady and the second was her baby (15 months old). The lady had an injury in her hand and the baby was motionless. The First-Aid kit is also missing in the bus.
The accident happened at mid-night 00:57am.
On seeing the condition of the baby and mother, I immediately called 108 at 00:59 am. Explained the state of injured persons and location of the place, Village, District & Taluk (assisted by a local person). It took around 3 minutes.

At 01:03 am (within a minute) I got a call from 108 with a conference to the district level center & I explained the exact location/ condition of the persons injured. It took around 3 minutes.
At 01:08 am, again I got a call from the Ambulance saying that they are on the way to accident spot.
To my surprise, the Ambulance reached the spot at 01:17am and started the treatment. The baby was brought to the active state (may be due to timely attempt by 108-EMRI) & medicines given for injured lady. At the end of their treatment both of them came to normal.

The EMRI 108 Ambulance reached the spot within 15 minutes from the receipt of information to them
As I am aware of 108 through training given for EMERGENCY EVACUATION DRILL conducted in June ’09, I could help the co-passengers. (None of the co-passengers were aware of 108)

Kindly share this experience, so that the people can make use of wonderful service provided by EMRI – "108" in TamilNadu.

Swine Flu
The Swine Flu is really spreading fast and email advisories on Swine Flu are spreading faster - But given the magnitude of the calamity, and the speed in which it could spread, we simply have to go to old adage - "Prevention is better than cure"!!!
So Please take time to read - You can be causal, that it would not impact "me", but nevertheless, please read this Summary advisory and follow it, it could save your life (or others)
Symptoms: The symptoms of swine flu include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.

How it Spreads: Spreads mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing of people with influenza.
Sometimes people may become infected by touching something with live flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.
Infected people may be able to infect others beginning 1 day before symptoms develop and up to 7 or more days after becoming sick. That means that you may be able to pass on the flu to someone else before you know you are sick, as well as while you are sick.

Medication: Because the virus is new, there will be no vaccine ready to protect against pandemic flu.

What should I do if I get sick?
