1. Its all about YOU ,,,,The Little things…

Excellent one to take life the right way!!! Thanks Yogeetha for sharing!!!

After Sept. 11th, one company invited the remaining members of other companies who had been decimated by the attack on the Twin Towers to share their available office space.

At a morning meeting, the head of security told stories of why these people were alive... and all the stories were just:
the 'L I TT L E' things.

The head of the company survived that day because his son started kindergarten. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.
One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an auto accident.
One of them missed his bus. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.
One's car wouldn't start. One went back to answer the telephone.

One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as soon as he should have. One couldn't get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to get to work but before he ! got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am
stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone, all the little things that annoy me. I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be at this very moment..
Next time your morning seems to be going wrong, the children are slow getting dressed, you can't seem to find the car keys, you hit every traffic light, don't get mad or frustrated;
God is at work watching over you!

May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things and may you remember their possible purpose.

(No words to explain.....!!)

3. Thought for this week

When God takes something away from your grasp, he is not punishing you!
But he is merely emptying your hands, for you to receive something better"

4.Tarot Speak..what kind of Person are you…

SEPTEMBER BABY ---------------
Active and dynamic. Decisive and haste but tends to regret. Attractive and affectionate to oneself.
Strong mentality. Loves attention. Diplomatic. Consoling, friendly and solves people's problems.Brave and fearless. Adventurous. Loving and caring. Suave and generous. Usually you have many friends. Enjoys making love. Emotional. Stubborn. Hasty.
Good memory. Moving, motivatesoneself and others. Loves to travel and explore. Sometimes sexy in a way that only their lover can understand.

5. Management quick tips.. To get a Promotion…

Tip 1 Ask for more responsibilities

When asking for a promotion, it’s best to avoid that “P” word. If instead, you tell your boss you’re ready to take on more responsibilities, it will show that you’re prepared to tackle a larger or more complicated workload and aren’t just looking for a bigger office and fatter paycheck.
It also gives your boss the option of gradually giving you the more important duties rather than just dumping you in a new position. Just make sure that if, after a few months, your tasks no longer resemble your job description, you bring that up and (with luck) get the new job title and paycheck.

6. Jokes corner யூனிவர்ஸிட்டி ஃபர்ஸ்ட்

7. Management thoughts

A man went to a shop, picked up a beautiful pot and said ‘My god this cup is so beautiful.’

Suddenly the cup started talking to the man. ‘Oh man, I am beautiful right now, but what of my being before the pot-maker made me so beautiful?’ I was sheer mud when the potter pulled me out from mother earth. I cried very badly. Then he churned me. I felt giddy. I asked him ‘why are you so cruel?’ The potter said ‘Just wait.’
Then he put me into an oven and heated me up. After that he poured hot paint on me. I felt completely burnt. I felt life was so painful hence pleaded with him to leave me free. He said ‘Just wait.’ And finally he took me to a mirror and said ‘Now look at yourself’ Ho, what a change!
I found myself so beautiful. We have to wait. Our struggles have some purpose. When our agenda is not fulfilled, it gives us pain. But the universe has its own plan. We have to wait.

9. Tip for this week….

Personally, found the OSK tip to be the most useful….thanks Ganesh for sharing

Simplest way to open few applications using Windows " Run " (Windows + R):

Run Command Application

1.) Single dot "." (or) Double dots ".." To access your home drive or " Y " drive

2.) Three dots "..." To open My Computer

3.) intl.cpl To open " Regional and Language options "

4.) timedate.cpl To display " Date and Time Properties "

5.) OSK To open "On Screen Keyboard"

6) \ To Open "C" Drive

10. Friends

Friendship Is A Priceless Gift
That Cannot Be Bought Or Sold
But Its Value Is Far Greater
Than The Mountain Made Of Gold
For Gold Is Cold & Lifeless
It Can Neither See Nor Hear
& In The Time Of Trouble
It Is Powerless 2 Cheer--
It Has No Ears 2 Listen

Nor Heart 2 Understand
It Cannot Bring U Comfort
Or Reach Out A Helping Hand
So When U Ask
God For A Gift
Be Thankful If He Sends
Not Diamonds, Pearls Or Riches
But The Love Of Real True Friends

Answer to the Puzzle :
In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter, place it at the end of the word,
and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word. Did you figure that out!!!

11. Closing thoughts… Fed-Ex and ICC awards

Fed-ex – Roger Federer…the Champion – Despite his great performance over the years, 2008 has been a difficult year for Federer
– Nadal (the future champion – I am sure there will be lots of write ups about him in the paper, media, blogs) had dethroned him from the No.1 Slot.
Like a true Champion, Fed-ex came back to win the US Open..making him the ONLY person in history to achieve a historic double – 5 Wimbledon' s and 5 US opens in a ROW….truly a champions performance..

What qualities did the champion display - Consistency, Perseverance, Self Belief…apart from all the hard work to get trained for the matches.
