1. Its all about YOU… One simple secret to stop procrastination

EAT THE FROG!!! – Can you ever imagining a live frog first thing in the morning!!!

There's an old saying that says...
"If the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is eat a live frog,
then nothing worse can happen for the rest of the day!"

Brian Tracy says that your "frog" should be the most difficult item on your things to do list, the one you're most likely to procrastinate on; because, if you eat that first, it'll give you energy and momentum for the rest of the day.

But, if you don't...and let him sit there on the plate and stare at you while you do a hundred unimportant things, it can drain your energy and you won't even know it.

Number of Tasks versus Importance of Tasks
Here is an interesting discovery. Each of the ten tasks may take the same amount of time to accomplish. But one or two of those tasks will contribute five or ten times the value of any of the others.

Often, one item on a list of ten tasks that you have to do can be worth more than all the other nine items put together. This task is invariably the frog that you should eat first.

Before you begin work, always ask yourself, "Is this task in the top 20 percent of my activities or in the bottom 80 percent?"

The hardest part of any important task is getting started on it in the first place. Once you actually begin work on a valuable task, you will be naturally motivated to continue. A part of your mind loves to be busy working on significant tasks that can really make a difference. Your job is to feed this part of your mind continually.

So go Ahead - Eat That Frog! Get the energy ; See the change it does to you and your pending tasks.

3. Health.. Eat Well Live Well….B/f Sundararajan

Adding fruits and vegetables to your meals can make a big difference. Here are some examples of choices for you to consider and the health benefits they provide.

Follow the Rainbow to a Healthier You!

We move from Red , Green (which we saw in earlier weeks) to our next colour – Orange/ Yellow. Orange/ Yellow fruits/veggies contain anti-oxidants like Vitamin C which promote:

* A Healthy heart
* Vision
* Lowers risk of some cancers
* Healthy immune system

Some Orange/ Yellow fruits / vegetables,
- Lemon
- Pumpkin
- Papaya
- Orange
- Pineapple
- Mango
- Carrot
- Corn
- Potatoes

Balaji: Challenge yourself to add ½ - 1 cup of fruit or vegetable each day. If you’re able to do that, start trying some fruits and vegetables you’ve never tried before. If you start the Challenge eating 1 cup a day and end it eating 3 cups a day, that’s success!

Fruits and veggies should be substitutes for other (not-so-great) foods. They still have calories so you need to watch your overall food intake as well.

So add a dash of these vegetable / fruits to your food…..Raw or boiled…just wash and eat as a snack..

4. Management quick tips... Golden Rules for Career Success...B/f Angelenaa

* Know when you do your best—morning, night, under pressure, relaxed; schedule and prioritize your work accordingly.

* Always choose to do what you’ll remember ten years from now.

* Never appear stressed in front of a client, a customer or your boss.
Take a deep breath and ask yourself: In the course of human events, how important is this?

* Sometimes you’ll be on a winning streak and everything will click; take maximum advantage.
When the opposite is true, hold steady and wait it out.

5. Jokes corner.... Not Giving Up Without A Fight

A big-city lawyer went duck hunting in a rural area. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As he climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.

The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell into this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."
The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over here."

The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys and if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things down here. We settle small disagreements like this with the Three-Kick Rule."
The lawyer asked, "What is the Three-Kick Rule?"
The farmer replied, "Well, first I kick you three times & then you kick me three times, & so on, back & forth, until someone gives up."

The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees. His second kick nearly wiped the man's nose off his face. The barrister was flat on his belly when the farmer's third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to give up.

The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old coot! Now, it's my turn!"
The old farmer smiled and said, "No, I give up. You can have the duck!"

6. Management thoughts…The Cricket - Super-human ears? B/f Murthy

A man and his friend were in a city, walking through the street. It was during the noon lunch hour and the streets were filled with people. Cars were honking their horns, taxicabs were squealing around corners, sirens were wailing, and the sounds of the city were almost deafening. Suddenly, the man said to his friend, "I hear a cricket."

His friend said, "What? You must be crazy. You couldn't possibly hear a cricket in all of this noise!" "No, I'm sure of it," the man said, "I heard a cricket."
"That's crazy," said the friend.

The man listened carefully for a moment, and then walked across the street to a big cement planter where some shrubs were growing. He looked into the bushes, beneath the branches, and sure enough, he located a small cricket. His friend was utterly amazed. "That's incredible," said his friend. "You must have super-human ears!"

"No," said the man. "My ears are no different from yours. It all depends on what you're listening for." "But that can't be!" said the friend. "I could never hear a cricket in this noise."
"Yes, it's true," came the reply. "It depends on what is really important to you. Here, let me show you."

He reached into his pocket, pulled out a few coins, and discreetly dropped them on the sidewalk. And then, with the noise of the crowded street still blaring in their ears, they noticed every head within twenty feet turn and look to see if the money that tinkled on the pavement was theirs.

"See what I mean?" asked the man. "It all depends on what's important to you."

7. Managemen(t)oonz..
***Be Positive always***

If you think your job is tough, how about him?

If you think you don't have many friends,
ask yourself if you have been a sincere friend?

8. Relationships – Tips to avoid Nagging…!!!

1) Do it yourself. My wife used to be annoyed with me because we never had cash in the house. Then I realized: why did I get to be assigned that job? So we opened a Bank account (easily accessible) – So we always have cash, and no ones annoyed.

2) No carping from the sidelines. If your partner got the kids dressed, don’t mock the outfits. If you want something done your way, do it yourself.

3) Remember that messy areas tend to stay messy, and tidy areas tend to stay tidy. If you want your partner to be neat, be neat yourself!
This is also very true when it comes to getting ready for an outing or going out…if you want your partner to be ready at a fixed time, don’t just finish your own dressing and keep following up – support or do those small chores which will help to get ready!!

4) See what Manual work can be re-assigned – pay that extra little buck, but you would earn so much more of mental peace – e.g. –
- Could the maid do some of the clothes folding, or going to the Ironing guy?
- Could you eat out on a particular days of the week?
- Eliminating conflict in a relationship is a high happiness priority, so this is a place to spend money if it can help.

5) Every once in a while, do your sweetheart’s task, for a treat. This kind of pitching-in wins enormous goodwill.

6) Don’t insist that a task be done on your schedule.
“You’ve got to clean the Cupboards today!” Says who?
Try, “When are you planning to clean the cupboard?”
If possible, show why something needs to be done by a certain time. “Will you be able to clean your cupboard before our daughters birthday party next week?”
8. Earth Day
Earth Day 2009, will mark the beginning of The Green Generation Campaign. With negotiations for a new global climate agreement coming up core principles: * A carbon-free future based on renewable energy that will end our common dependency on fossil fuels, including coal. * An individual’s commitment to responsible, sustainable consumption. * Creation of a new green economy that lifts people out of poverty by creating millions of quality green jobs and transforms the global education system into a green one.
